Confessions {3}

This is a meme hosted by Jen @ In The Closet With A Bibliophile. Since she is always asked what is her favorite book and/or song, she decided she would make it into a meme. So, what is your fave book and song for this week?

My favorite song this week, is Teenage Dream by Katy Perry.

My favorite book this week would have to be Finding Perfect by Susan Mallery.

When Pia O'Brian's best friend dies, Pia expects to inherit her cherished cat. Instead, the woman leaves Pia three frozen embryos. With a disastrous track record in the romance department and the parenting skills of a hamster, Pia doesn't think she's meant for motherhood. But determined to do the right thing, Pia decides to become a single mother. Only to meet a gorgeous, sexy hunk the very same day.

A former foster-care kid now rich beyond his wildest dreams, Raoul Moreno runs a camp for needy children in Fool's Gold, California. After his last relationship, Raoul thought he was done with women and commitment. Still, he can't get sweet, sexy Pia out of his mind—and proposes a crazy plan. But can such an unconventional beginning really result in the perfect ending?

This Week's Confessions {2}

This is a meme hosted by Jen @ In The Closet With A Bibliophile. Since she is always asked what is her favorite book and/or song, she decided she would make it into a meme. So, what is your fave book and song for this week?

My favorite song this week, is Glitter in the Air by Pink. I love this song and I really enjoyed her Grammy performance of it.

As for my favorite book this week, by far it would have to be Georgia's Kitchen by Jenny Nelson.

At thirty-three, talented chef Georgia Gray has everything a woman could want—the top job at one of Manhattan’s best restaurants; a posse of smart and savvy gal pals who never let her down; and a platinum-set, cushion-cut diamond engagement ring courtesy of Glenn, the handsome entertainment lawyer who Georgia’s overbearing mother can’t wait for her to marry. The table is set for the ambitious bride-to-be until a scathing restaurant review destroys her reputation. To add salt to her wounds, Glenn suddenly calls off the wedding.

Brokenhearted, Georgia escapes to the Italian countryside, where she sharpens her skills at a trattoria run by a world-class chef who seems to have it all—a devoted lover, a magnificent villa, and most important, a kitchen of her own. Georgia quells her longings with Italy’s delectable offerings: fine wine, luscious cheeses, cerulean blue skies, and irresistible Gianni—an expert in the vineyard and the bedroom. So when Gianni tempts Georgia to stay in Italy with an offer no sane top chef could refuse, why can’t she say yes?

An appetite for something more looms large in Georgia’s heart – the desire to run her own restaurant in the city she loves. But having left New York with her career in flames, she’ll need to stir up more than just courage if she’s to realize her dreams and find her way home.

This Week's Confession {1}

This is a meme hosted by Jen @ In The Closet With A Bibliophile. Since she is always asked what is her favorite book and/or song, she decided she would make it into a meme. So, what is your fave book and song for this week?

My favorite song this week, is Unthinkable by Alicia Keys. (If you had not noticed, I already have this video embedded near the bottom of my blog.) I love this song and the video.

As for my favorite book this week, well I don't have one. I think I only finished two or three books this week and they weren't that great. Maybe I'll have a book for you next week.
