The Reason:

It's a tie folks!! Erik and Daisy's love for one another has No Way Out, now that she's a vampire, she is with him for eternity. My other choice was If Loving is Wrong I Don't Want to Be Right because everyone was against her relationship with Erik. I know the song is about loving a married man, but for these pposes it's going to be about loving a vampire. :) The other choice would have been Everlasting Love because just like the book title, it's everlasting.

The Reason: The Duff, to me, feels like a modern day Say Anything. I don't know why I see Wesley in the role of John Cusack holding a boombox outside of Bianca bedroom window, but I do. The title is reason enough! Who wouldn't want to ride a cowboy! And this book is full of them. My alternate choice would be I'm N Luv (With a Stripper), because Tyler is indeed a stripper. Although the song is written about a woman, for these purposes it's about a man.

The Reason:

This song is the what came to mind when Lief and Kelly went on their picnic. It's a nice, sweet ballad that reminds me of their sweet, tender love for one another. My alternate choice would be Tender Love, because they do share a love that comes across on the pages as tender.

The Reason: I chose this song because in the book, the lead female, Sommer, lets her cowboy lover, Boaz, brand her bottom with his ranch's logo. So, Sex On Fire seemed only fitting. My alternative choice would have been Sign Your Name Across My Heart, since that is pretty much what Boaz did, only with her bottom.

The Reason:
I picked this song because the book features domestic violence. Not just physical but also emotional. It was this song or You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi. But in the end, I thought that the title of the song would be fitting because of the "hurt" inflicted by so-called loved ones. I know the song isn't about that, but the title is what I was going for.
