I was totally engrossed in this storyline from page one. Both Lara and Damion were very well-written characters with great chemistry. I loved their interplay.

Lara, who has no memory of her past, is attracted to and quickly falling for Damion, her sworn enemy. The two of them are not only trying to uncover her past but keep her alive. They tended to butt heads a lot but you could still see they really cared about one another.

The love scenes were just as hot as the action. Talk about no dull moments in this one. Even the background characters brought their own bit of something to the table. Of the background characters, I really loved Chale and Jenna. Jenna worked at Powell's lab and Chale was Damion's partner. I'm hoping that Jenna will be "redeemed" and matched with Chale.

The previous life-bonds from the past two books made appearances. I'm still a fan of Michael and Cassandra. I remain cautious of how Dorian, Adma's son is going to fit into the Renegades. I'm hoping he'll end up being a good guy.

I am so looking forward to the next installment. Hopefully it'll be Chale's.

Thanks so much to Book Obsessed for having me today. I’ve had several people ask me how I come up with ideas so I thought I would talk about how I came up with The Storm that is Sterling. I must confess that my DH had some good ideas for Sterling. In Sterling there is a street drug that is deadly and the drug was DH’s idea. He’s going to medical school and when I started talking about my idea of my heroine having cancer he immediately said – a drug that the bad guy has needs to be part of the story and have an effect on the heroine. It was a great idea that set my mind racing. I loved writing Sterling for all kinds of reasons but one big one was that this book is very much based in Vegas the city, not the outskirts of Vegas in the mountains, like LEGEND OF Michael was. I’ve spent a lot of time in Vegas and I love the city. I really feel the time I spent in the hotels and around the city helped me paint the story more accurately.

I also know I’ve been asked the hardest part of writing Sterling and I said the emotional content however, thinking back I have a scene where the heroine has to get out of a facility where she is trapped. Once I got her in there, I had no clue how to get her out! That was a little piece of H*ll to figure out! So, if you have read Sterling, or you do read Sterling, think of me walking up and down our stairs, mumbling as I try to figure this out. That’s what I did!

This book drew me in from the prologue. I was instantly intrigued by Sterling and the blossoming relationship he had with Rebecca. You could tell there was a mutual attraction that had the possibility of becoming more.

Fast forward 14 years later that attraction is still there. Only this time they also have a little issue with trusting one another. With both the Renegades and the Zodius trying to get their hands on Rebecca, she doesn’t know which team Sterling is playing for.

This is another action-packed installment to this paranormal series. It’s a fast-paced read with something for everyone. Even the secondary characters bring something to the table other than just filling pages. There’s never a dull moment with this series.

Cassandra is daughter to the GTECH creator and is attracted to and intrigued by Michael. The two of them spark up a relationship, but when all hell breaks loose, she doesn't see him for two whole years.

This is where part two of the novel begins. All the action of the war between GTECHs and mankind takes place here. All of the action kept me on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happened next.

The Legend of Michael was very well written. I didn't feel like all the action was just an afterthought thrown in to fill pages. Michale and Cassandra were both very likable characters with their own personal demons. That's what made them so likable and real. Plus the chemistry between Cassandra and Michael was hot. I was glad that the two of them had a mutual affection for each other before the lifebond.

The GTECHs were like super soldiers on steroids. Like with all things, you have your good guys and bad guys. The Renegades and the Zodius. They were each led by twin brothers, Caleb and Adam. I like to refer to them as Cain and Abel, but in reverse.

I definitely want to continue on with this series. Ms. Jones wrote a fantastic opener to what looks to be a great paranormal romantic suspense series. If The Legend of Michael is any indicator of what's to come with this series, it's going to be a great action-packed adventure.

Every on was afraid of Michael. They all that was a bad, bad man. They even called him 'The Dark One' and 'The Punisher.' So this song was only fitting.
