Liz Gillibrand wants a man she can submit to in the bedroom but still keep her sex life a secret from the conservative ranching community. When she discovers her neighbor owns Rawhide, a private bondage club, she might have found the answer.

But the first Dom she meets is Alex Wright, a man she's already connected with physically and emotionally. Once before she tried to merge her private life with the lifestyle but with disastrous results.

Can Alex be the one to finally free her from the past and give her the life she longs for.
Liz is a female submissive working in a male dominated field where she has to keep a tight hold on being the authority. But in the bedroom she wants to let go of the control and let someone else have the control. Then enters Alex Wright.

Both Alex and Liz have an immediate connection and attraction to one another, but Liz can’t afford to have her employees know about her secret lifestyle. In an effort to keep it just that, she wants nothing to do with Alex outside of Rawhide.

The storyline of these two trying to get their relationship beyond the club was not without its bumps. Some of the problems they faced were due to some events from Liz’s past. The relationship they have inside Rawhide is smoking hot. With their interaction, you can see it’s about more than sex to the both of them.

The absolute trust Liz had with Alex at Rawhide but not outside its doors was a bit questionable. I didn’t understand how she could trust him so thoroughly with her body and safety, but not trust him to let her make her own decisions and live her own life outside the bedroom.

Review: The Cowboy Comes Home by Roni Adams

Title: The Cowboy Comes Home

Format: Ebook
Pages: 312

Synopsis
They say you can never go home again. Tyler Weston is hoping that's not true. Two years ago he thought he wanted freedom and to be as far away from Sweet Meadow, Texas as he could get. He left behind his family's ranch, his brothers and his childhood sweetheart, Beth Sampson. Now he's home for the holidays, but he's hoping to make it a permanent move. Will he be able to mend the hurts he's caused especially with Beth or has she grown up and gotten completely over him? Beth Sampson thought her world was ending when Tyler left her. He didn't even have the decency to face her and break up, he just left with no word. Its taken her this long to even begin to think about living again and now he's back for the holidays. Her only defense is to pretend indifference until he leaves again. The holidays can't go by fast enough for her. She needs him out of sight before she makes a complete fool of herself. What kind of woman loves a man who leaves like that?
Tyler and Beth grew up together and were each other's first and only love. They even had the same dreams for the future. Until one day they didn't.

Tyler had to get away from the small town life where everyone knew your business and try to make it on his own. So Tyler sets off on the road for bigger and better leaving Beth behind with only a note. A year and a half later, he's back in town and still in love with Beth.

The Cowboy Comes Home takes you on a journey of two life-long lovers trying to find their way back to each other. At first I started out being upset with Tyler for the way he left Beth, but after learning more about him and getting his side of the story, I started to soften toward him. I was really looking forward to them working it out and getting their happily ever after.

This was a steamy read, but not overly so. It is the first book I've read by Roni Adams, but I look forward to reading more by her.
