Product Review & Giveaway: Easy Canvas Prints

I've always loved how people have their photos made into canvas prints. I just always assumed it was some difficult painstaking process. But for me it was as simple as visiting Easy Canvas Prints.

It took me awhile to finally decide on which photo I wanted to turn into a canvas, but I finally decided on one of my favorite pictures of my sister and my niece. Of course now that she's seen it, she wants it.

The canvas I chose was a black and white 8x10 wrap-around print. The canvas is of great quality; it is very thick and sturdy.

I received this canvas in record time! I just went to their user friendly website and placed my order on a Monday, and it was waiting for me when I arrived home Thursday.

I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Melissa for professionally and patiently working with me!

*I received this canvas in exchange for an honest review.

Author Interview & Giveaway: Ashlyn Chase, author of The Vampire Next Door

Please join me in welcoming Ashlyn Chase, author of The Vampire Next Door.

Multi-published author Ashlyn Chase specializes in characters who reinvent themselves, having reinvented herself numerous times. She has worked as a psychiatric nurse, for the Red Cross, and has a degree in behavioral sciences. The first two books in the Strange Neighbors series are Strange Neighbors and The Werewolf Upstairs, which are both available now! She lives with her true-life hero husband in beautiful New Hampshire. For more information, please visit http://www.ashlynchase.com/

Describe The Vampire Next Door in three words.

Outstandingly fun romance (from a 4 ½ star review in RT Book Reviews!)

Out of all the books you’ve published, which two characters are your favorite?

Maura and Adrian from Vampire Vintage or Randy and Sky from Being Randy.

Of the 17 different places you have lived, which were your most favorite? Least favorite?

Where I live right now in New Hampshire is my favorite. Least favorite is Colorado, but probably because my life there was unhappy.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the role of you? Why?

Meg Ryan—Who doesn’t love Meg Ryan? I recognize myself in a lot of her characters.

Which books are in your Summer reading pile?

I have a bunch of ebooks downloaded onto my Nook. I’m hoping to read a few of my fellow Sourcebooks authors books. A few Secrets anthologies and some paperbacks from Ellora’s Cave will go into the hot tub with me.

Can you tell us a bit about what’s coming up next from you? Can you share any teasers?

I have a novella called Immortally Yours and a new series Flirting with Fangs just contracted with Ellora’s Cave. I’m also working on a new series proposal for my agent. I have yet to come up with a name for it, but it takes place in a Boston bar, and we’re referring to it as the paranormal Cheers.

THE VAMPIRE NEXT DOOR BY ASHLYN CHASE – IN STORES AUGUST 2011

Room for Rent: Normal need not apply

This old Boston brownstone is not known for quiet living… first the shapeshifter meets his nurse, then the werewolf falls for his sassy lawyer, but now the vampire is looking for love with a witch who’s afraid of the dark… and you thought your neighbors had issues!

Undead Sly is content playing vigilante vampire, keeping the neighborhood safe from human criminals, until Morgaine moves in upstairs. Suddenly he finds himself weak with desire, which isn’t a good place for a vampire to be. And Morgaine isn’t exactly without her own issues—will the two of them be able to get past their deepest fears before their chance at “normal” slips away?

Review: SWAT Team Two and Miss Robin Hood by Dixie Lynn Dwyer

SWAT Team Two and Miss Robin Hood
Dixie Lynn Dwyer
Series: The Men of Five-O #2
Publisher: Siren Publishing
Publication Date: May 9, 2011
Kindle
Source: Publisher
Genre: Paranormal, Menage
Characters: Melissa, Frankie, Jake, Logan, Sunny, Vince Vladamir
Challenge: 100+, Ebook
Buy the Book: Amazon

When tragedy strikes, Melissa is left responsible to care for a whole family. Desperate times call for desperate measures. As if working in a strip club isn’t dangerous enough, she decides to moonlight for the sake of the poor and needy in the community, including her family. Add in a persistent cop who wants her to snitch and a notorious drug dealer who wants to bed her and she’s in over her head.

Vince, Logan, Sunny, Frankie and Jake are wolves and SWAT team officers. While out at a club, they meet their mate, and she’s one sexy little dancer. She avoids them, but they remain determined. When they pick up her scent near a drug factory they raid, they assume that she’s a criminal in their current investigation. They locate, handcuff and arrest her, and then they bring her back to their place to initiate their version of interrogation. By the time they’re finished, she’ll be begging for their touch.

Melissa is struggling to provide for herself, her late sister's children, and her sickly aunt. She turns to creative ways to provide her family and friends with money. While working at a gentleman's club, she meets SWAT team two, the Vladamir brothers, who recognize her as their mate.

Ms. Dwyer again manages to write vivid erotic scenes between all parties involved. With five men no one was left out or treated as an afterthought. All the brothers received equal time and emotional involvement with Melissa in their own individual way.

This is a great series for anyone wanting smoking hot sex with a paranormal twist. I hope Ms. Dwyer continues with this series.
