My Rating:

Faced with a mountain of bills, rancher Tyler Garahan takes a night job with a lot of trepidation. But being a male performer at a strip club does come with at least one beautiful compensation-and feisty red-haired bookkeeper Emily Langley seems to understand Tyler even better than he understands himself...

Tyler needs cash and he needs it fast. So he answers an ad in the local newspaper for a job at a nightclub, The Lucky Star, he’s expecting to be carrying kegs or even being a bouncer. What he didn’t expect was to be the entertainment at a ladies club.

Emily is part owner of the Lucky Star and is instantly enamored with Tyler when he comes in for an interview. And the feeling is mutual.

The two of them go at it pretty hot and heavy in the beginning, but they cool off a bit after their initial encounter. They are a little unsure of the other, because they don’t truly know each other even though they have been to bed together.

The side story of Emily’s cousin Jolene and Jake, I really enjoyed. Although their relationship wasn’t prominently featured, the bits we were exposed to was still sweet and entertaining to watch.

Admirand does offer some mystery in the fact there were a few townspeople against the opening of the strip club, and were going to great lengths to close it down. Overall Tyler offers a nice start for this trilogy.
