Theme Thursday {3}: Furniture

This meme is being hosted by Kavyen @ Reading Between Pages. Each Thursday she will be posting a new "theme" Anyone can join in; here are the rules:

  • A new "theme" will be posted each Thursday
  • Select a conversion/snippet/sentence from your current read
  • Post your selection, but don't forget to list the title and author of the book
  • This event is open for one whole week
  • It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)

Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”

This week's "theme" is: FURNITURE

The classrooms were still locked from the weekend, so I couldn't grab a chair.

Is this story based on a classroom romance? Oh, I so want to read it...

Makes me wonder how tall that mystery man is ;)

I chose a passage from The Dressmaker.

A highschool romance? Not That Kind of Girl makes you wonder what kind of girl based on the cover.

Thanks for the visit!

I picture somebody either trying to reach something high or break a window.

Something similar has actually happened to me! I had to be in school on a weekend, and despite the fact that there were thousands of chairs in the building, I couldn't get at one to sit on!
