My Review:
Clay moves to Texas to make something of his own, independent of his grandfather, father, and uncles. No sooner than he sets foot in Texas, he lays eyes on Dara Rose and other women no longer exist.

I fell in love with Dara and her daughters. Edrina and Harriett were two little girls who always spoke their minds. For such young girls, they did not let their financial situation take their joy. Even in their situation, Edrina and Harriett were thinking of those less fortunate than themselves.

As always, Miller writes a beautiful story that draws you in. The leading men are always strong, caring role model types that any woman would be happy to have. And Clay was no different.
